Olwyn Series
Olwyn, the Welsh Goddess of wisdom, love, the moon and the sea, brings the golden wheel of summer. The seven spinning Chakras hold the same meaning as wheel and Olwyn's name is used to describe these centers. These images were commissioned as book illustrations for particular world dances that embody each of the seven primary power centers. Dancers from different countries are framed by wheels representing that particular culture. The last is an androgynous figure transforming from our planetary roots to our cosmic self.
